Synergy Fitness and Wellness Center was founded in 2011 with the intent to offer holistic, complimentary health and fitness services to residents and visitors of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Synergy Fitness and Wellness Center features a state of the art, full service gym and outpatient healthcare clinic offering on-site integrative medicine, nutritional counseling, clinical psychology, physical and occupational therapies, therapeutic massage, personal training, and links to other beneficial alternative therapies in the Virgin Islands.
Synergy Fitness and Wellness Center is a consortium of complimentary skilled professionals dedicated to the concept of integrative health care and practice of using all common pathways for self-healing and sustainable well-being.
Synergy Fitness and Wellness Center will be a model for holistic integrative healthcare in the Virgin Islands; providing the best of modern medical treatment and complimentary skilled therapies, both conventional and alternative, to facilitate the body’s innate healing response, promote health, and pursuit of a healthy lifestyle.
Synergy Fitness and Wellness Center is a place of total healing. We treat each client individually in 60-90 minute sessions in either private rooms or in our intimate gym facility. There is never a wait for scheduled appointments. All care is provided by licensed therapists or doctors. We do not use aides for treatment programs. All aspects of care are completely confidential as required by law.

Where is Synergy?
We are located in the East End Plaza directly across the street from the Red Hook Ferry terminal. East End Plaza is also home to the VIBR tax office (IRB). Our office is above the IRB at the end of the hall.
East End plaza has a gated parking lot; do I have to pay for parking?
Synergy validates parking for all of our patients for up to 2 hours. If you have an appointment with us, bring your parking ticket to our reception desk when you check in and we are happy to validate it for you.
What makes Synergy different from other health facilities/ offices on island?
There are so many factors we take pride in here at Synergy. Here are a few that differentiate us:
1. We offer multidisciplinary healing options which give our patients options for more complete care. Physical therapy, Naturopathic Medicine, Nutritional counseling, and more are among the options we offer. See our “ Health Services” section for more information.
2. We treat each patient one on one. Unlike most physical therapy centers, our physical therapists and other providers only see one patient per appointment. This allows the providers to give individualized care to each person during each treatment.
3. We are passionate about what we do. Our team hails over 75 years of combined experience in healing arts and business. We are a collective of passionate individuals who have combined our talents to bring the best service in the industry to our patients.
Can I use my insurance for the services Synergy provides?
We do accept most major insurance policies (Cigna, Mapfre, United Health Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and more) for medical services. Coverage depends on your individual policy. Each insurance company has a different rate and cost for service which they provide during the insurance verification process. As a courtesy to our patients, our staff will complete the verification, then reach out to you to advise of the benefits allowed by your specific policy
Do I need a referral to make an appointment?
We recommend that you call our office and speak with our staff to determine if one will be needed. The need for a referral depends on the insurance carrier you have. In some cases, as a courtesy to you, our staff may be able to obtain one from your doctor for you.
As a secondary option for those who do have insurance or choose not to use their insurance policy, we also offer self-pay rates. Self pay rates are preset price points for each service type payable by the patient via cash or credit prior to the appointment.

What are your hours of operation?
Our gym is open Monday- Friday from 6am- 7pm, Saturdays from 9am-4pm.
Our medical appointments are available Monday- Friday from 8am-6pm, Saturdays from 9am-3pm.
Does Synergy offer retail items for sale?
Yes. We sell items such as a lumbar support rolls, therapeutic band, yoga mats, and stress balls in the center. Follow us on Social Media to see the items or come in and see!

Is massage covered under insurance policies?
Massage is not covered under insurance policies. Clients have to pay rates depending on the duration of the massage.
